Charlotte Gainsbourg to Be New Face for Coty Perfume 2010

'The recent news from Hollywood is that the French actress Charlotte Gainsbourg will be the new face to front a designer perfume from the huge Coty Inc organization. Coty Inc sees the first fragrance to ever be produced by the perfumer Nicolas Ghesquière.

Charlotte has been the muse of Nicolas Ghesquière for some time and is set to collaborate with him on his first designer fragrance for Balenciaga, one of the brands owned by Coty Inc. And the perfume is set to be launched in February 2010.

The latest fragrance has not yet been given a name; however, it follows in the footsteps of Coty Inc. celebrity fragrances which were launched by the likes of Kylie Minogue and Sarah Jessica Parker. The vice president of Coty Prestige marketing, Catherine Walsh commented to the fashion press recently; ‘It was less about who can we get to endorse it and was more about developing a fragrance around her and Nicolas’ thoughts’.

Charlotte Gainsbourg is in Los Angeles shooting the new fragrance commercial and is due to be the main guest of honour at a special party that is to be held in LA to celebrate the forthcoming launch of the new fragrance," says sources.
