Gucci will launch Flora, a new fragrance for women named after their "iconic floral print Flora", first used on a Gucci scarf created in 1966 for Princess Grace. Flora is geared towards a younger audience than Gucci's latest feminine scent, Gucci by Gucci. According to Frida Giannini, Gucci's creative director, Flora is lighter. The floral scent of course evokes a younger consumer, and she has a hedonistic, daring side. The new floral fragrance features notes of citrus, peony, rose, osmanthus, sandalwood and patchouli.
Gucci Flora will be introduced this coming April, and will be available in 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching body products.
