Elizabeth Taylor Violet Eyes (2010) by Elizabeth Taylor Perfume for Women

Legendary Hollywood actress Elizabeth Taylor has paved the way for celebrity fragrances by creating her very own signature fragrance house. Millions of women admire the beauty every fragrance entails. The actress and humanitarian has launched 11 fragrances, full-bodied scents that reflect Taylor's famously indomitable spirit: White Diamonds, Black Pearls, Brilliant White Diamonds, Diamonds and Emeralds, Forever Elizabeth, Diamonds and Sapphires, Gardenia, Passion, to name a few.

On Mother's Day 2010, Elizabeth Taylor invites you to experience an ultra feminine burst of fresh fruit and soft florals. Introducing Violet Eyes, a new edition to the already magnetic Elizabeth Taylor fragrance line. Carefully composed, each spray of Violet Eyes blossoms into jasmine and sweet peach. Rose and violet guide a gentle peony to warm, sensual musk; perfect in every way. No word yet on flacon design.

In a Los Angeles Times interview, Taylor express her desire for creating perfume: "My philosophy for designing perfume is like everything else in my life, ruled by love and passion. Always give your heart and make the world more beautiful. So many people place their name on products that aren't intrinsic to their soul. I think that's a little sad. I have to care about everything I do." She continued, "My favorite notes are florals, including jasmine and gardenia. It must be feminine and sensual. Intense notes appeal to me. I'm bold, and I love it when my fragrance notes are as well."

Elizabeth Taylor's Violet Eyes name is a name suggestion I made in an email to the HBC fragrance dept in Toronto in Sep 2005 after I had a dream. I even saw in my dream as to what kind of publicity I would give it. At that time I had received a response that my suggestion would be forwarded to a supplier. I never heard about this until I read on Elizabeth Taylor's twitter chat about how she was suggested the name Violet Eyes by her fragrance manufacturer and she wasn't so sure about the name and asked her followers to let her know what they thought. Now it has been confirmed that Violet Eyes will be out on Mothers Day. My idea has been stolen and I stand by it. I have the proof to show.I even sent Elizabeth a letter through her aids foundation address and I did not receive any reply. Shame. All I wanted was a certain amount from the profits of the sale of this fragrance be sent in my name to The Hospital of Children in Toronto. That was all the benefit I was looking for.
