After five years of hard work and a successfully presented cosmetic line by princess Carla Royo-Villanova, based on rose oil, which encompasses face mask, creams, face toners, make up removal tonic etc., her first perfume, named Carla Bulgaria Roses Beauty, has recently been introduced and will arrive on the market in the beginning of 2009.

Bulgarian rose is not by accident in the name of the house nor in ingredients, since perfume is dedicated to and connected with Bulgaria from several reasons. Princess Carla is married to a rich Bulgarian Kubrat, and rose essences are 100% natural, originating from rose valleys situated very near Sofia.

The perfume was not supposed to be created and launched with the cosmetic line, but after numerous customers insisted, the perfume was created and presented. Perfume Carla was inspired by great-grandmother Coucha and her garden, cakes baked by her cousin and fragrances of childhood. The perfume is composed of Bulgarian rose with floral waves of garden flowers, bergamot, violet, iris, moss, caramel and powdery aromas which awake associations of grandmother's perfume. This fragrance is sweet and romantic as Carla herself. Associations of childhood, lipstick scent, talc and soap shaped the new edition created by Ana Corsini of CBRB.

The flacon is simple, made of glass with cheerful motifs on outer carton and etiquette. It is available as 100 ml Eau De Toilette.

Base notes are cashmere wood, musk, iris and coconut. This fruity and floral fragrance, which is both glam and trendy, has a crown stopper studded with rhinestones and a faux stone motif.

Rock Princess was developed by perfumer Calice Becker and will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching body lotion.

Only an emerald-green stone and the engraved letter “B” decorate the bottle’s cap, in keeping with the brand’s discreet design sensibility.

The perfume itself, which is made with high-quality materials from around the world, is just as elegant as the bottle. Cedar from the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, Australian sandalwood, and patchouli form the base notes, while the middle notes are drawn from a subtle, apricot-scented Osamanthus flower. Absolutes of orange blossom and rose linger at the top. It is a feminine, woody, floral scent made for a younger, sophisticated woman.

The fragrance was composed very much like a piece of jewelry. Rather than the traditional top, middle, and base notes, B de Boucheron was created as an inverted pyramid. According to an interview with Ursula Wandel, the perfumer who created B, the fragrance contains 20 natural products. It's light, luminous, and inspired by emeralds.
