The 34-year-old actress wanted the scent to be “something that every woman could wear.” And she succeeded! Eva for women is the perfect amount of seduction and sexuality. It captures the essence of Eva herself. “I decided to create my own fragrance that is light, fresh and unique,” she told WWD. “I think the scent of a woman is extremely sexy and this scent will prove that.” Although Eva has been the cover face for L'Oreal, the new eau de parfum is Mrs. Longoria's first independent campaign in the beauty industry. We think she'll do just fine! Eva by Eva Longoria is expected to be distributed in over 1,000 stores and set to launch spring 2010.

“I have always been somewhat allergic to all perfumes and really wanted to create something that every woman could wear,”said Longoria. According to Jerome Falic, CEO of Falic Fashion Group (the company that developed the fragrance alongside ELP), the actress was very much involved in the scent's creation. “Eva was involved from day one with all aspects of the project,” said Falic. “At the end of the day, it’s about Eva. She wanted something different, so we designed quite a few different versions.”

“I never knew how complicated it was to create a unique scent that hasn’t already been done,” admitted Longoria. “But I enjoyed the process.”
