Elizabeth Arden will launch Green Tea Exotic April 2009. The new fragrance for women is a flanker to 1999's Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, and follows recent efforts Green Tea Revitalize, Green Tea Tropical, and Green Tea Lotus. Green Tea Exotic is a fragrance experience that transports you to an exotic Japanese garden. Inspired by the unique, floral scent of the blossoming lotus and surrounded by sparkling fruits with the warmth of green tea.

The scent aims to evoke a “private paradise” for the wearer, according to Arden. It was inspired by the plumeria and hibiscus flowers found in Costa Rica, which are said to bring an exotic, beach-like floral feeling to the Green Tea structure. The juice is a blend of invigorating tea notes, fresh citrus and aromatic spearmint, contrasted with lush exotic florals and earthy woods and musk tones. The top notes include bergamot, Ceylon black tea and kaffir limes, atop a heart that features Rangoon purple vine, orchid, lily, jasmine and green tea. The base combines woods, ambrette seeds and white narcissus. The bottle is a reinterpretation of the original, updated with a sheer lavender colour, contrasted by the signature green tea leaf motif. The colour-scheme is echoed on the outer carton.

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Exotic will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
